Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a way for Canadians to share the joy of Christmas with children living in countries that have been ravaged by war, famine, extreme poverty, disease, or natural disaster by packing a shoe box with gifts to be sent to a child overseas. This is a yearly event that the Kitchenhaus team enjoys being a part of.
BC Children's Hospital Festival of Trees
A community favorite and one of the most anticipated events of the year. The Festival of Trees transforms hotel lobbies in three BC communities, Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna into lush forests of beautifully decorated trees to raise funds for BC Children's Hospital. This year, our staff enthusiastically participated in the making of decorations and by taking time to come out to decorate at The Grand Okanagan Hotel.
